Summer of G-star

While on Santa Monica a few weeks ago, Joey and I walked into one of our recent discoveries. a little shop, LASC. Its nothing out of the Ordinary. short briefs, and shorter speedos for summer. but on the far corner of it all, they have a whole room dedicated to Diesel jeans and G-star Raw. Which brings me to the point im trying to make. simple as it is, summer 2010, is summer of G-Star Raw.
Although i only have a few pieces as of now. a Basic T, and a amazingly structured button down, i can't wait to get my hands on some more pieces. The Authenticity, and, In lack of a more Defining word, Raw craftsmanship of each and every single piece is unlike most other Denim based lines. Once you try on a piece, let alone a collection of pieces from GS-R, you realize that comfort does not always have to be compromised for fashion Personally, that is what i have always felt should be the Criteria to building a great and functional summer wardrobe.

Sunday March 7th marked the anniversary of my relationship with my boyfriend, so to celebrate we went out to a fantastic Mimosa filled brunch. after a great morning, we decided to make a quick stop at the pop up Farmers Market, on melrose. Conveniently located next to Marc Jacobs Collection and my Favorite little spot, the Alexander McQueen store. i had my eye on this bracelet since my last trip up their, but it was an amazing sunday afternoon and it felt just right, so ended up walking out of their with this little gem. too legit to quit.

Recently i took one of my Short excursions to Rodeo Drive, between school and work, never intending on buying anything. (it was between planned purchases). So i walk into my favorite stores, typical of my trip. but as soon as i walked into YSL, I felt the sensation of a new purchases "abrewin". Their it sat, inside a glass case. the most beautiful Olive colored braided leather bracelet with gold hardware. it had to be mine. and to top it all off, it was under $200. Done deal.

After an Excruciating Stint At the McQueen Store on Melrose this past friday, i went back on Monday to Purchase my sandals. I originally wanted the patent leather Cobalt blue version of this sandal, but not only were those solely produced for the european market, i also doubt that they're as versatile as the carmel colored ones that i ended up with.
I have yet to wear them. I was thinking of wearing them to work tomorrow, but im not sure the weather is just right yet. im really in no rush.
